Re: Green Giants (Bosch 0-280-155-968) dead times

Deadtime doesn't vary much with pressure, only battery voltage. It looks like the FNPW_OFFSET value is what you need.

Re: ITB Batch or sequential

I've got a Toyota 3AC running CBR600 throttles on batch fire, alternating injectors in the firing order.
Tuning it with MAP was pretty much impossible. The throttles have MAP ports that are tied together, but the 3AC doesn't pull enough air at any RPM to make them useful. It idled ~32 kPa, but as ...

Re: 24 awg?

As long as it is high quality, then no problem. The best stuff that is reasonably priced is Tefzel. www.skygeek.com has it, but it can get a little spendy.

Re: ms2 help! for 4age

The RPM and AFR cycling is a sign that the fuel map in that area isn't very well tuned. Basically as the engine starts it'll overshoot the idle RPM because of the extra throttle that you put in. As it tries to idle, it hits a rich spot and gains enough power to rev up, then goes lean as it moves to ...

Re: Manifold air temp for draw through turbo

The beauty of thermistors is that the resistance is logarithmic with respect to temperature, so you can use three points and curve fit the rest. Using EasyTherm with MS I or just putting those three points into MS II is all the ECU needs to be able to measure all temperatures in the range of the ...

Re: alternator sizing

If you're going to spend the time and money to upgrade the alternator, get one with the highest current output you can afford, can't hurt anything.

Re: Wire Gauge Questions

14 gauge is way overkill for injectors. If you run high impedance injectors, 20 gauge is fine, low impedance you can run 18 gauge. Don't forget that the DB-37 pins on MS can only support 5 amps each, no reason to go with huge wire when the connector limits your current capacity.

I run the entire ...
