Re: v3 ignition

What kind of motor do you have, and what kind of distributor does it have? Are you running MS1 or MS2
on the V3 board?

Re: Help with the basics

You need ms2 if you want to use the GM idle air motor from the LS1.

Re: megasquirt and boost.

The stock map sensor (2.5bar) is good for 21PSI , but as stated above DIYAutoTune sells the map Daddy which is a four bar map. That is somewhere around 40psi of boost.

So to answer your question, it would be no without the map daddy or at least a 3 bar sensor.

Re: EDIS-8 to MSD 6AL

Have you tried 10lbs or more of boost yet?
I have ran 25psi with my turbo EDIS motor with no problems with spark.
I dont know how much power you are planning on making but I have seen alot of EDIS cars making more than 800hp without spark problems.

Re: MegaSquirt Meet 2009

Thanks to everybody that made the megameet happen, I had a great time and
learned alot. The turn out was amazing this year. I can not wait till next year as
always.

For the people that are wondering who I am, I own the gray Nissan Pickumup truck. :D

Hopefully next year I may have something new ...

Re: VR sensor placement

If your VR sensor is a little bit off you can fix it with the trigger wisard. The only way of knowing this is to pull the spout connector out and make shure that your timing is 10 degrees BTDC, if it is not then you can adjust the trigger wisard till it is.
