I done fetched me a fuel pump for a 2005 GSXR750. It is actually pretty small for all it does. It is 7.5" overall length with only 5.25" inside the tank. The part that is inside the tank is 2.5" in diameter and the flange is about 4.75" in diameter.
It looks to have a fuel level sensor and an ...

It needs to support around 80hp. Peugeot is not real popular here in the US of A but if it is a good pump and can provide the fuel for 80hp then I'd consider it. Ebay don't got one listed right now. You gotta pic?

Smallest in-tank motorcycle fuel pump

In yer experience, what is the smallest in-tank fuel pump you have seen? I'm talking about something readily available in the USA and from a newer motorcycle. Seems like the 2006ish GSXR600/750 is smaller in diameter and shorter in length than most. I do believe it also uses a single line, no return ...

Thanks for the suggestion. The fuel filter will attach real easy as will the valve.

MAP sensor on two cylinder

What can I do to use a MAP sensor on a twin cylinder engine that has uneven vacuum pulses unlike a multi-cylinder engine. A small vacuum tank to maintain and smooth vacuum? A restrictor in the vacuum line like I have to use when I use syncronizing mercury sticks?
I've heard this is a problem with ...

Most if not all of the motorcycle fuel pumps I have seen are of the "in tank" variety and that is not very do-able with my plan. The bike came with carburetors stock and the tank is not very tall like the fuel pump units are. Do you know of an inline style pump that is good fer 100hp?

All pressure ...

Aarrgghh......... The resistor will only dissipate some of the wattage into heat. The load would only be 30 to 35watts with some waste.
I read on another link about a Mallory 4060 pump. Is this an external inline pump? I'll try to search for it again on Ebay or speedshops but haven't found one. If ...

The voltage would be constant, just less than 13.2VDC . I'm talkin' about putting a 60watt whatever Ohm resistor say on the ground wire between the pump and ground. It will only run at partial speed but should be able to keep up with my needs even at this reduced speed/volume.
I'm assuming most ...

Fuel pump and potentiometer / resistor.

I wanna use an MSD 2225 fuel pump on a motorcycle with only 300watt alternator. This pump can provide way more fuel than I will need so I was wonderin if I could use a resistor to slow it down some and not draw the 60watts+/- that it is rated for. Is this rating what the pump will draw all the time ...

Temp sensor for AirCooled engine

I wanna Inject my Suzuki Intruder 1400 motorcycle but it is air (and oil techincally) cooled. It has an oil pressure sending unit but that is about it for sensors. What can I use and where should I mount it to monitor engine temperature. From what I gather, MS needs to know engine temperature to ...

I guess what I meant by what Yamaha's reason for doing this was why on the R6 but not R1 or not by any other manufacturer. Does EFI react quickly enough so that a bog is avoided when the throttle is quickly whacked open?

The R6 throttle bodies are CV, constant velocity. When you open the butterfly it gives the diaphram vacumn and the diaphram is what opens the slide. It only opens as much as the engine needs and is more accurate in the carburator world than direct pull or flatslides. This is the only bike I've seen ...
