I really should.

I could get a vac switch that is triggered by low vacuum (18kpa), seeing as how I already used all my outputs.

Does anybody know of such a switch?

That may be the correct time to to it.... It is also the time of the highest vacuum , and it would be the most effective.

I've been running the MS from more then a year now, and It is a rock solid platform.

Something has always bugged me about my set up. The charcoal canister has an electrical 'purge soleniod' from the factory that controls when the contents are fed into the engine.

I have yet to have ANY problems since that thread, so the methods described are correct. It has also been running for 6 months, so reliability of the mods should not be an issue.

Their kit was excellent, and easy to put together.

Gary cleaned my MS in the ultrasonic cleaner to get rid of some stubborn flux residue. He did this for free ...

It is never fun to have to do that.

In addition... The problem is very hard to pin down. Today it was doing it the entire way home and I had to wrestle with it to make it home. When I got home I was planning to run some tests, but when I arrived It refused to do anything and was running great. What a PITA.

do you have to do the output mod as well?

My car is acting the same way... RPM dropping to zero and progressively getting worse until the car stalls. If i keep moving it seems to be fine, but red lights are a strictly fingers-crossed ...
