Buzzbomb,

Glen's Garage is not on the list of approved vendors ( http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/mintro.htm#group ) and has not been on that list for a long time. We have no control over Glen's site, we can only post the feedback we get here and advise people to buy from the approved vendors ...

All, Just a note that there has been a change in venue for the evening social events in Portland. These will be held in Elmer's lounge, 9848 N Whitaker Rd. Portland (503) 289-9848. This has the advantage of being within 'staggering distance' of the hotel! See you there!

ditchdigger,

Your post was moved because you did not indicate which code you are running (and you still haven't). This is required if you are asking for troubleshooting or tuning help. You are not allowed to re-post topics, this is cross-posting.

Re: Symtech Labs

Vendors are only placed on the list at *their* request. Symtech has not requested to be added to the vendors list. If they were to ask, we would look their performance with respect to the customers of B&G products, and respond to their request based on what we determine at that time.

Re: MS supplier from Turkey

Everyone,

We can vouch for megaecu (http://www.megaecu.com), they are authorized dealers selling genuine Bowling and Grippo items in Turkey. They will be added to our vendors listings (http://www.megamanual.com/MSFAQ.htm#order) very shortly.

Re: MS1 on v2.2 knock-off from Turkey?

All,

Bowling and Grippo have never produced a main board with a red solder mask. Some of the units from Turkey apparently have a red solder mask. If you get one of these, none of the assembly instructions or troubleshooting advice here applies. In addition, we cannot support you efforts with those ...

Re: MS supplier from Turkey

Just a note to everyone:

If the main board is red, it is NOT a B&G board. B&G main boards are green (V2.2) or blue (V3). Apparently some of the boards from Turkey have a red solder mask:

We cannot support these boards in any way on these forums, and the assembly ...

StevenD57,

Vendors that have proven to be reliable are listed here: http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/mintro.htm#group

Thanks for alerting us to the possible counterfeits, we will look into it.

The V2.2 board is very simple, while the V3 board is much more complicated and has more layers, so ...

whitneyd,

That's fine - and we do want to encourage people to help each other. The problem is that the moderators don't speak every possible language that might be used, and it becomes impossible for them to do their jobs if they can't understand what is written.

So we generally ask that people do ...

Try again, the board limit has been increased and a number of orphaned attachments were removed.
