Re: WINDOWS 7

Me too. See you in Atlanta in April.

James

By the way, I had to reinstall Tuner Studio and Megalog viewer. I had previously purchased them from you but no longer have my registration codes. Do I have to pay again or can I get the codes from you?
Thanks again.

Re: WINDOWS 7

After some further investigation, I found the graphics driver was causing the problem. I updated it and all seems normal now.

WINDOWS 7

I had to redownload Tuner Studio and Megalog viewer to my laptop which is running Windows 7. When I try to open either program, they crash my computer, dump physical memory and then restarts. There is a log indicating something regarding the page file.

Thanks,

James

Re: Air intake sensor

I know it's been a long time but actually the fuel pump circuit in my MSIII failed and I lost fuel pressure leaning out the engine.

Air intake sensor

Here is a good one. At my last race the engine suddenly detonated badly (and scored pistons) on the first lap after running perfectly in practice and qualifying. After coasting in to the paddock and checking under the hood, I found the IAT (intake air temp sensor, GM) had a broken wire. Any ideas as...

Re: No spark

Ok, the only thing that got changed was the battery got moved to the rear of the car. There must be too much voltage drop to run the MSII. I will run voltage drop tests tomorrow. Does anyone have other suggestions?

No spark

MSII v3 with ignition enabled and using a VR sensor. I have used this setup for all my races with no problems. Went Laguna Seca this weekend and no spark. I went through all the usual tests (checking grounds, signals at all the points on the relay board, checking for current at all the usual places)...

No response needed as I found it and my sensor is good.

VR sensor voltage

How much voltage must the MSII see from the VR sensor at the tach pin on the relay board to trigger the ignition?

Thanks,

Re: Wideband readings vs 5 gas readings.

Hi Charles and all, Yes, it has taken quite a while for me to respond but I understand what you are describing. I will work on this in the off season as well as a good way to datalog while racing etc. I am now (at the end of this season) working on chassis enhancements for car handling as I have fou...

Wideband readings vs 5 gas readings.

I am concerned about using my wide band controller. When I set my AFR table to where I believe it is correct, use VE analyzer and run it on the chassis dyno, I find that the chassis dyno 5 gas analyzer shows that I am way too rich. The race engine likes about 13.1/1 AFR. This is where the engine mak...
