Re: Alternatives to the DIY relay board?

So, I have been doing a little research and curious if someone can answer my noob questions.

To mimic the relay board on a standard relay setup, would I just split the ground, power and ignition sources into 3 each and run each to a relay?

Does anyone have a general layout of how the relay board ...

I would bump it down to 1 squirt till you quit soaking the spark plugs.

Re: Alternatives to the DIY relay board?

Well, I will be trying one of these solutions, or an OEM one, this spring as my relay box is getting too frequent at cutting power :/

Might consider trying to find an OEM one with spare slots for expansion. I would imagine it shouldn't be too complicated to adapt an OEM block to a MS. Just trying ...

This is the one I use. Fused and totally compatible with MS.

Does that also have fuses?

I am wishing I would have just mounted the relay box in the cabin, would make things a lot easier lol.

Re: Alternatives to the DIY relay board?

Pump to see if anyone has come up with a new or different solution. Hoping to work on this over the spring, but don't want to do anything major now since I am planning a motor swap within a year or so.

Re: to much fuel for turbo 3tc

It is definitely weird. I have been trying to assist with my limited knowledge, but as far as I can tell, between the MS/Tuner studio changing the engine size and/or injector size, I think this is causing his injectors to flood which is preventing the start.

Re: no RPM ms2 v3.0

So, did you get rid of the flooded engine and get the injectors set correctly? I have no clue what you will have to do to get those fire hose injectors working, but I imagine someone will.

Check the MS setting listed here under MS2 also.

You may also want to consider loading the latest firmware. Here is a link with some info.

Re: no RPM ms2 v3.0

The firmware version you are running is listed under the project option in Tuner Studio (think you had told me 2.9 something, but that was a week ago lol).

Post that number here as these people probably know a crap ton more then I lol.

Alternatives to the DIY relay board?

Has anyone used a fuse/relay box that is not from DIY Auto Tune? I have one already installed and just don't car for it under my hood. Hoping people have tried other boxes (aftermarket or different cars) and what your experience has been with installing.

Thanks.

I have to agree. There is something fulfilling to do all that work and then to hear the beast start.

Re: opinions on grounding

K. I was asking cause I bought the diy auto tune relay board. The ms connects to that and all the sensors, injectors connect there, but I dont recall seeing a place to run all the grounds for the sensors. Maybe I need to look up more on it.

opinions on grounding

Just a quick question. I am wiring up my sensors and eids stuff and started wondering, should I try and ground everything in the engine bay, or run all the ground wires with the rest of the wires and ground them in the cabin? I can't imaging it matters much, but figured I would ask before.
