thanx for your reply, i really dont know what vertion i have, is ms1 the board or the code? how does ms1 differ to ms2? i really feel like i will never know how to do this. do you think 2 or 3 minuets of cranking with the banging and farting that my friend experianced today tring to start the engine ...

guys im totaly lost, i brought a megasquirt from turbobandit for my mercedes turbo. the guy who has wired it up has tried to start it before any updating has been done. the engine turns over but "blows" real bad as if the leads are on wrong.

i am frantic wondering if this will have damaged anything ...
