Is injector angle important?

Sorry to keep harping on about this, but I need to get it straight in my own mind before I move on with this.

With reference to my post in the list below and my intention to use bottom mounted MPI on my Mk2 Jaguar by drilling the existing cold start castings for injectors.
I am now thinking I ...

Re: Side feed port injector in TBI

Hi, Thanks for your responses.
I was thinking in terms of boost pressure when I was referring to 3bar, I hadn’t realised it was fuel line pressure that was being referred to.
I’m beginning to think that using port injectors is a non starter.
Can you tell me why TBI injectors require ...

Side feed port injector in TBI

Hi,

Assuming the flow rate is adequate, is there any reason why a port injector cannot be used in a TBI application?
I am planing to convert my SU carbs by possibly using Subaru side feed fuel injectors mounted in an adapter in the carbs.

The links are very helpful too.
I have been looking at Side Feed Injectors, which seem to be the type of design best ...

Re: TBI injector availability in the UK

Hi Darren,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm trying to keep the car looking as original as possible, so I wanted to keep the carbs.
I was originally planning to weld some port injector bungs on the bottom of the inlet manifold, out of sight and use the carbs as throttle bodies and I may still go that way ...

TBI injector availability in the UK

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there were any TBI cars/vans available in the uk?

I am planning a TBI conversion for my 3.4 litre MK2 Jaguar, which is rated at 210hp. I intend to build an adapter and convert the two, two inch SU carbs to TBI.
From the Megasquirt conversion table I calculate that I will ...
