If it were mine, though, I would adjust the TPS lag factor lower to remove as much of the noise as I could.



Is it possible to have noise when the engine isn't running? Ive made this log (attached) while the engine was not ...

I use Tunerstudio. Also with Tunerstudio i can't use larger values then 255 (if i place 256 it will change to 0 automatically). How can i change this?

High TPSdot values

When I look at the datalog, it shows high values for TpsDot. The max threshold is 255 %/s in megatune, but the values in the datalog shows about 1200 max. I use ms2 with 2.905 code and a ford tps (2.9I v6 '92) .

How can i change the TpsDot to normal?

Still got some issues.

Most problems are gone. The spikes on the Map was caused by the Usb adapter, i did some test with my old laptop with an rs232 port on it. I also made a misstep on the wiring; I switched two gnd wires, the sensor gnd and one of the engine gnds.

There are a few strange things which i don't understand. The issue is about the accelenrichment, non x-tau.

First, TPSDot gives very high values, like 20.000. I cant make a right accel configuration, even when i use this high values (%/s rate, according to the datalog). Even when i don't want to ...

im confused..

The theory says how higher the rpm, how higher the hp rate will be. But the specs from my engine tells that the original engine has a peak hp 230 @ 4400 rmp. But the engine runs about 5500 rmp.. Why not more hp at 5500 rpm?

Problem solved.

a reboot fixed it.. i could not burn to flash anymore. I gues i've set the pw too short, so it was squirting continuous. Afther that i made a mistake, i was turning it on to 'normal mode' and burned it. Result: I could not burn anyting anymore.

Oke, im trying to test my injectors..

First i tryed with the standard 400/20/60 [(squirts)/(pw)/(close)] I did burn it to flash. worked well.

After some test i would try a verry short closingtime. So i set the parameters to 100/50/1 and also burn it. I noticed that ms didnt do anyting, he still ...

Oke, my ego correction was enabled.. Going to try it without. TPS is high enough (Accel enrichment is disabled).

I'm not sure about the injector flow. A few minutes ago I saw two different values on internet.. Also going to do a injector flow test.

hmm, gues not (and hope not :O), it was running well with the original manifold and ecu. The coolant temperature did not exeed 95 D Celcius and i dont loose any coollant..

Its an ms-2 btw.

It takes me about 1 min to start te car for the first time, after i changed the coil wiring. Start some tuning, but.. doesnt matter what i chanched, it strubles on all rmps, and how higher the rmp gets how worse it gets.

At step 22 they say to jumper js10 to
- ign or
- igbtin, with igbtout jumpered to ign

I want to use a hall sensor direct to ms and from ms direct to the coil. Do i need to jumper now (at step 22) and which shoud i pick, direct to ign or.. whats the difference?
