Re: Hidden EFI system

If you don't want to alter the manifold ,make yourself a portfueler.
But put the injectors on the bottom.

Don't forget to ground the wideband to the same termination point as the Megasquirt. And if you take power from the same fuse you wont be able to run the engine with out having power to the O2 sensor. This can plug up the O2 sensor.

The IAT don't have tobe in the plenum .And sometimes it can help to have it in the intake pipe to avoid heat soak.

I was just having a moment of paranoia. I had no reason to question a Carter pump kit. It was just one of those days when you double check everything, because anything that can go wrong has.
The part number info is great thanks.

Mustang pump

Has anyone here replaced a pump in a 87-92 Mustang. I picked up a new one to use in my project. Now is the little piece of fuel line that comes in the box realy good for 50-60 psi.

Where to use Sockets?

If you socket all the IC chips,it makes it easy to trouble shoot any suspect chip ,if you have a problem. And if you build a second one you can now test the chips before you solder them in.

VR sensor: Where to find one

Escorts with 1.9 engine. Go in through righthand wheelwell. You will need a T27 torks bit and if you take a 19mm you can get the timing gear too.
