Re: Very basic fuel system design question....

Dito on the challenge to fit items on a bike :? I have moved everything you mention (plus a few more) on my "phase 2" session last year, and now will engage with another round with "phase 3" in what I hope is the final arrangement.
My bike may be larger than yours (R100RT BMW which is 1 liter), but ...

Re: List of Pumps for Water Injection

Well that didn't work out exactly as intended. The pump I"m going to use is the Garner Denver listed at the bottom of page of first post. Tried to edit things but getting ensnarled with system.

Re: List of Pumps for Water Injection

More pumps. The first one here is really well made (actually, many on list are from Switzerland) but is about $1000.00us which is way beyond the scope of a water injection system. However, at 300psi rating, and aircraft quality robustness, it and some of the others might have an application in some ...

List of Pumps for Water Injection

Water Injection systems require pumps able to provide reasonably high pressure. For bike projects, we don't have room available for the "Sure Flow" type high volume RV pumps, and they are heavy. After a search for suitable product, I came up with the following candidates. Some are quite high priced ...

Re: Two questions: Surge tanks and return lines

PWM stands for Pulse Width Modulation. PWM doesn't change resistance, it changes how much time a circuit in energized.

May be a nob, but I understand how pwm works. My bad on poor gramar.
I meant to comment on the sensor, which changes resistance relative to fuel pressure which the module ...

Re: Two questions: Surge tanks and return lines

My take on the PWM for fuel pump control is, nothing ventured , nothing gained.
It has potential to radically reduce current draw (critical on bikes with limited charging systems), reduce fuel heating, and I suspect with a bit more genius applied a reference to boost increase for fuel pressure to ...

Re: Two questions: Surge tanks and return lines

Seem's to be one of those things that doesn't reveal itself easily, small fuel pump sourcing.
I know others have done the search and found info on the net of that miniature Delphi unit - but you can't buy it.
I'm currently on the prowl for a similarly designed water pump to drive water injection ...

Re: Two questions: Surge tanks and return lines

msiddalingaiah - excellent material!
I know others have considered PWM on the fuel pump circuit, myself amongst them (I've adopted a fresh name to log in over here, I'm R100RT over @ MS).
That is probably the best way to nail fuel delivery requirements while reducing charging system burden to an ...
