Re: Cant get it started

So that's a good thing? I used the ve table generator to get that table and I lowered some of the wue & ase enrichments, not much though.

Re: Cant get it started

So where would an experienced tuner go from here? Im really not sure what values to change to lean out the motor during start up.

Re: Cant get it started

Unfortunatley i didnt make a log or pull the plugs, however the AFR reading went from 18 to 10 as soon as i started cranking and i had a strong smell of petrol from the exhaust. Could that mean i was too rich? Spark timing was spot on.

What do you mean by the tune looked rough? in what areas should ...

Injectors wont fire

Well i got it all connected up today, setup the sensors, started testing and the injectors wont fire

I checked my earth's and wiring connections then i found i get 6 ohms (Injectors + resistor box) from the injector pin on ecu to neg battery terminal . Is that correct my wiring diagram is ...

Re: IAC setup

Ive done a bit more reading but cant see why to go PWM over Stepper. Is there any real difference?

Im using the DIYPnP ecu which comes with the outputs for a PWM, will they work for the Stepper iac as well? :?

Thanks

IAC setup

Ive been looking around at PWM IAC to "Retrofit" to my 22re.

What i'd like to know is if anyone has done this to their car, 22re or not. And which IAC they used

Im looking at something like this:

Re: Injector resistance

I finally got around to checking the resistance and i got 2.5 ohms for the injectors and 3.5 for the resistor box.

Should this work fine?

Thanks

Re: Injector resistance

Ok thanks for that. The factory harness has an inbuilt resistor. Tomorrow I'll test the injectors and the resistor box.
Is there an "ideal resistance"?

Thanks

Injector resistance

Hi I have just started building my DIYPNP and I started wondering what was considered low resistance/high resistance.
Also if I have 4 low resistance injectors, the ecu specs state I can only power 2. Is this going to be a problem if they are low resistance. Can I use resistors to make the ...
