Re: USB serial adapter problem

My friend check all the MAP line and everything is ok for this part.
But the problem is always here after 2 sessions for the race.

Please could you post screen shot about the advanced setting properties about your USB/serial adapter.

thx

Re: MAP Daddy problem

That message looks like you may have corrupted firmware - did you try loading an old MSQ on top of the new firmware or something similar?

You'll want to email the vendor you bought the MapDaddy from directly - I suspect that would be us, in which case the email address is websales@DIYAutoTune.com ...

Re: MAP Daddy problem

Ok I made the measure:

U1 Pin#1 = 4.84V
U2 Pin #1 = 4.84V
Js5 = 4.84V

Seems to be the MapDappy default not the setting in MT, reading is always at 416.4 with small variation of the last digit.
I make a depression with my mounth on the MAP pipe with no effect. always at 416.5

I reflash the MSII ...

Are you thinking about Sensor pin#1 ?
And which is the baro output ?

Can make the measures this night for me, this day for you.

Re: TPS ADC out of range

Finally find the problem the electric range is smaller than the physical range ....

You were right from the start then!
Again .....

Thx for your assistance.
Now need to solve the Map Daddy problem

Unusual for sure but it is a variable resistor without electronics inside ...
I use the std 5V Vref like it was assembled in your ECU. (You sold me it in December but not I haven't finish the engine before, to test it).

Re: TPS ADC out of range

Actually, it sounds like the sensor's full scale is smaller than the throttle's full scale!

hummm for me is not the sensor full scale that is smaller than the throttle's full scale.
Because I read the full scale in megatune BUT full scale of the sensor is not reach.
If I decrease the voltage of ...

Yes of course

30 ADC count a closed throttle
1020 ADC count a WOT

Re: TPS ADC out of range

Matt Cramer wrote: Although if you're running speed density, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

You're right but intellectually .... it's making an error

In fact TPS in MT reach full scale before the full scale of TBI and before the Full scale of the sensor.

Re: MAP Daddy problem

Thx for your reply Matt.

I have made all your advice about configuring the Map Daddy.

In fact all gauges in MT (Map Engine and Barometer) indicate 416kpa but the engine is not running.
I assembled the Map Daddy to add a barometer correction for mountain race.

I connect another ECU but with the ...

TPS ADC out of range

Hi

I have a new TPS sensor.
When I get current at closed throttle I get 30
When I get current at WOT I get 1020

But in MT2.25p3 I obtain 100% of TPS before the real WOT of the throttle.

How I can fix this ?
Do I need to reduce the voltage of Vref or Vtps ?

Thx
Pat

I have installed the sensor, put the right setting in sensor calibration section.
Selected the right Sensor in the configurator.

Re: Injector Opening Time

Thx U Matt.

No I run pump gas Injector (from VW mexican beetle).
I think that my NB send bad value or may be not function correctly because I read on MT 0.45/0.5v on EGO meter but the exhaust gas mixture feel rich.

Injector Opening Time

How to know the correct InjOpen Time ?

I start my engine with the advocated value (1.0ms) but Idle speed is smoother with 3ms.

How can I determine the "correct" value ? Measure ? Calculation ?

Yes I know the CB Perf casting.

But I'm running IDA on this motor before so I want to re-use the manifold.

I don't want to spend a lot of time to make porting again.
