Re: MegaSquirt @ Nokia Qt Developer Days

Justin - yes, indeed - I got a kick out of this!!! Pretty impressive, especially in the fact that it took 2 days to get a working system!

I am not at all knowledgeable in QT, when you are done with the conference can you tell us how all this works? The demo is pretty impressive and may be the easy ...

Re: MSII code question

As Matt says the V3.xx code is a beta version.. its a "grand unification" of the MSII, microsquirt and sequencer code versions. The code is 100% operational and its what I am using for my engines and it works. In the near future we will update the docs to V3.xx code and this will replace the 2.8X ...

Re: MS or MSII for single cyl propane application?

Can I please get clarification on "control the start of fuel timing".

Am I going to want to use a trigger wheel and a VR sensor?
Is the MS1 with the PCB3.0 the setup I want to go with?

Speedy:)

As Al indicates, for fuel the precise injection point is not super critical, especially for a 1-cyl ...

Re: Anyone runnign a CBR600RR engine

I am running this exact engine, batch mode, on Microsquirt. Running batch so cam signal required. I am using the stock coils in wasted mode using a EFISource ignitor. Also running a prototype Synchromap but you can also use alpha-N at idle.

What I did was file off one of the 12T on the crank ...

Re: Need to recalibrate after code version upgrade?

No, none of the recent code changes should affect fuel settings. I never have to change any fuel settings and I burn all the time.

What you could do is datalog at idle warmed up with the old code, do the upgrade, and datalog again to see what is different.

I appreciate your attention on this, and I will do my best to respond with diagnostics as you come up with thoughts on how to solve this.

If you come up with any new ...

I ran into the same problem and found the only way to turn the test mode off was to change the number of squirts to 0 while the 'test' was running, this then stops the injectors firing. Then you can change the mode to normal, megatune beeps a couple of times then burn settings to ecu!

This hangup ...
