Re: Injector firing order options

The way I was told is firing only 1/2 of the injectors on a fuel rail at a time keeps down pressure variations that could occur by firing all 4 on one side at once.

Re: Hidden EFI systems--make it look like a carb motor

Only real practical way I can see of making it work would be with GM TBI's. However you have to pay $$$ to get a 454 TBI that's been modded enough to flow enough air and fuel for any amount of power. The efi 454's were what, less than 300hp I think and in stock form their TBI flow is not generous. I ...

Agreed, too much work and too much time considering there is an off-the-shelf efi edelbrock victor intake manifold available for BB and SB mopars.

I would grab a TBI off a 80's Chrysler with a 2.2/2.5L 4cyl car. They are cheap, reliable and easy to find. You would still have to fab up your own adapter, but I think this would be easier than a ford unit.

After shutter but before reeds is my vote. You don't want to be fueling before the shutter/slider/throttle plate IMO. That would be inefficient and not the best choice for good fuel atomization. After the reed, I dunno if that would mess up the way a 2 stroke works. The reed valve is supposed to be ...

Thanks Lance, that looks like it'll fit the bill nicely. I emailed Holley's tech dept just to make sure this will work correctly.

Fuel Filter BEFORE fuel pump??

Anyone have a suggestion for a fuel filter I can run before the fuel pump? I'm running an in-line universal hi-pressure walbro 255 pump and don't have provisions for an in-tank fuel sock. My tank is like a fuel cell, a tub with a threaded fitting on the bottom to attach a fuel line to. I don't ...
