it was understood when i call the tps a switch one thinks of it as a potentiometer i did check the pot with a meter before i wired the switch and it appeared to be working correctly

chris i have somebody with a scope that might be able to come verify it for us

vref come from MS and both legs are ...

just to restate my point, there is no way to ground the tps switch physically and why would you, you have v-ref and your 2 feeds backs, tps is just a data reference point ,unless you are refering to grounding one of the feed back legs

what is db37 Chris i am sure i have grd from engine block to the controller there is no place to ground just the TPS by itself

Again Matt many thanks I am going to use fp to trigger a fuel pump relay

And the engine ground i will connect to the engine block which then finds it's way back to battery negative thru engine to trans which is grounded to battery

Yes Matt he did buy the relay board

I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question

so if I understand you correctly i go from the JP2 terminal block of the relay board out to power up the injectors call it injector +12v and then take -12v or ground or return wire of the injectors to pins ...

cover the harness with spiral wrap a little more labor intensive but makes for a very nice looking harness building one right now will post pics tomorrow

right now i am in the process of cleaning this engine up. Have just removed the EGR system and fabricated a tidy plate to cover the opening in the plenum .Is this a good idea, retaining the egr complicates headers fabrication what are your views on this
