Isn't the M6001-ND a radial lead component? And M9213-ND is an axial one. Would the 6001 radial fit the PCB very well? Also, I cross-referenced them on the newark site and it said the 6001 was rated at 1.1A
http://www.newark.com/NewarkWebCommerce ... =gensearch

And the 9213 was rated at 1070mA(1.07A)
http://www.newark.com/NewarkWebCommerce ... =gensearch

So I guess I'll try getting the 9213s since the regular BOM inductors are on backorder from digikey.

Looking for alternate Relays for the Relay and Power board. Mouser recommended VF4A-45F11 but the specs show it as a SPDT relay rather than SPST... will that be an issue?

It looks like VF4A-11F11 might be a good match, maybe even better than the VF4A-41F11 that's on the BOM as VF4A-11F11 doesn't have the bracket... the other specs look the same. Problem is this is backordered everywhere too.

Looks like Tyco just has a supply problem with these relays...

Anywhere else to look or alternate part numbers?

Still concerning relays....

Looks like VF4-11F13 might be a good match... same specs as VF4A-41F11 (BOM part) except this is PCB mounted instead of socket mounted so it won't be quite as easy to change out if it failed.

Can anyone drop their $.02 on this? These are in stock....

Data sheet on these relays is here: http://relays.tycoelectronics.com/datas ... 34-VF4.pdf

Confirmed-- I found a replacement for the relays. Part number VF4-11F11 works just great. Identical part but comes without the metal bracket that I was cutting off anyways as it just got in the way.

How about a cross reference for the Opto-Isolator?.. Digikey is back ordered till at least June 7th. :(

I tried searching on Mouser and JameCo but couldn't find a close enough match to chance it on.

I answered this a week ago in another thread which Lance quoted above. Try the Fairchild version of the 4N25, which is DigiKey part number 4N25FS-ND at $0.56 each.

Not a problem; glad I could help. Sometimes the answers aren't under
the keyword you're searching on, so you have to try other things.
When looking for substitutions, it's always a good idea to search on
the part number as well.

Very true Glen.

Maybe a thread like this would be best off (as it is a sticky) to have a list of the parts at the top somewhere with cross references listed. Rather than searching post by post in a potentially lengthy thread.

I've found that all the parts that were backordered for digi-key, I could get the same parts from mouser when ordering the pot that goes on the stim. everything but the relays.

In place of 300-1002-ND, use DigiKey300-8303-ND or Mouser 695-CFS206-327KF-U.

For the relays, use Tyco P/N 1432782-1 (SPST NO, without bracket), DigiKey PB679-ND or Mouser 655-1432782-1

Looks good to me, all of the specs match up and you can order them in lower quantities anyways...

I'm trying to order some parts from Digikey to fix the flyback circuit and am having a hard time with Q2/Q7 (IRFIZ34G-ND). Digikey is telling me I need to order a minimum quantity of 450. I tried finding some suitable replacements and came up with IRFIZ34GPBF-ND, which I can order my two (no minimum quantity required). It seems the only difference is that it's lead free. I'm also replacing AE7208-ND with AE10011-ND, seems to be the same or very similar.

Can you guys that are more knowledgeable confirm this will work? Oh yeah, and this is for a MS, V2.2 board. Thanks a bunch!

Hi,

This is my first post and I want to say hello to all of you here.

I'm assembling MS1 on V3 board. I collect almost all components but have a problem to find out diodes FR302DICT-ND (part # D5 and D7).

DigiKey have a back order at the middle of february next year. Since I can't wait that long time i tried to find diodes at local shops. One local dealer told me that FR302 is not in production any more and offer me a exchange diode UF5408. But there is a little difference:

FR302DICT:
- Vrrm: 100V
- Vrms: 70V
- Vdc: 100V
- Iav: 3A
- Ifsm: 150A
- Vf: 1.3V
- Trr: 150ns
- Cj: 70pF

UF5408:
- Vrrm: 1000V
- Vrms: 700V
- Vdc: 1000V
- Iav: 3A
- Ifsm: 150A
- Vf: 1.7V
- Trr: 75ns
- Cj: 36pF

Question is, can I use UF5408 to assemble on my MS or need to find out another exchange that will match all specifications of the FR302?
