Can I create my own wideband 02 sensor calibration?

Post by JustinL »

Basically what I want to do is create a table for a UEGO wideband sensor. I tried using the "generic linear" function, but the output from the controller is non linear from 0-5V. Is there a way to manually create the table and upload it to the MS2?

Thanks in advance! :)

Which AEM UEGO are you using? Mine certainly had a linear 0-5 volt output (white wire I believe). I downloaded the table already in the configure file for linear AEM UEGO and mine is spot on? The UEGO number didn't match exactly, something like 42-30xx (but don't quote me), but the AFR table was the same.

Yes, you can create your own WB sensor table. Look for a file called 'lambdaSensors.ini' in the mtCfg folder for MegaTune (not the project folder).

Use the others for examples of either a table lookup or an equation.

I am working on this with Justin. I made the changes and created an inc file for the wideband.
SO I can select it in mtcfg..BUT do I still use Generic Wideband in the megatune AFR calibration under tools? I would expect to see my new wideband on the list?
In the MTcfg program I was able to select the new wideband I created....... but within megatune it is not listed ........shouldnt it? What other file populates that drop down list?

Thanks
