Based in the UK it was with some concern I order from DIYAutoTune a LCdash, via the website and via paypal.

Here in the UK we have our fair share of poor service issues with stores - my goodness me what a shock I have had with Matt from DIYAutoTune.

A Couple of e-mail queries to him should have altered me, they were answered same day (time differance ?)

So I ordered.

About a week later a card dropped through my door, it was ready for local collection. BEAUTIFULLY packed, really really well packed, and the item itself is just fantastic !

Thanks 1,000,000 to Matt and all at DIYAutoTune, absolutely delighted with both the LCDash and The outstanding service

Pleasure to deal with !

Another product announcement: We're adding 36-1 trigger wheels to our lineup, too. These are laser cut from 11 gauge (1/8" mild steel) and are available in three sizes to fit most common engines.

Click here for the trigger wheel catalog page

And we've working on documentation on how to use the trigger wheels, too:

Matt-

Why are the 4" wheels made with pointy teeth? what does the the signal look like on a scope, and what kind of adjustments, if any, are required on R52 & R56?

(btw, your online catalog lists it in the description as 44" diameter!).

We patterned it after small distributor triggers, which almost always have pointy teeth. It gives a pretty normal sine wave on a 'scope, with a bit of a larger amplitude on the teeth immediately before and after the missing one (which is pretty common on OEM triggers, too). These usually work best with R52 and R56 fully counterclockwise, although you may find R56 needs to be given a slight clockwise turn depending on your sensor, sensor gap, and code version.
(btw, your online catalog lists it in the description as 44" diameter!).

Scott.
Fixed. Thanks for pointing that out.

Great service. Kit took a bit to get here, but thats canada customs for ya.

Everything was in neat little bags, labled with part, #, and component #.

Made putting it together a breeze.

We've just added fuel injectors to our product lineup too. They range from 24 lb/hr to 95 lb/hr and work with both gasoline and alcohol.

Check the new DIYPNP EMS we just released today-- full PNP EMS, you just add a bit of elbow grease. Fits more than 40 cars right out of the gate, and we've got many more in the works.

Click Here for a video that will give you a basic idea on the assembly.

Click here for stacks of information, docs, feature lists, etc. DIY PNP EFI made easy. Modular. Expandable. It's just pretty darn cool.

Feature List - Here's what you can do

* OEM ECU Connector to plug right into the factory harness!
* Speed Density, Alpha-N and Hybrid Alpha-N (both SD and A-N algorithms hybridized) Supported
* 2 Ignition Inputs (for dual wheel ignitions)
* 4 Spark Outputs (Up to 4 Cylinder Coil On Plug, up to 8 Cylinder Wasted Spark)
* Rotary Ignition Support
* Enhanced Acceleration Enrichment (EAE)
* Boost Control
* Knock Control
* Launch Control
* Flat Shift
* Tachometer Output
* Fully Adjustable Rev Limiter
* Table Switching
* 4 General PurposeOutputs
* 4 General Purpose Inputs (2 analog, 2 digital)
* Support for Flex Fuel
* Optional Realtime Baro Correction
* Closed Loop O2 Correction
* Plenty of Proto Area, add your own customizations!
*There's more than we could list here-- click this link to view the full featurelist of MS2/E.

Note: Some of the features listed above use the General Purpose Inputs/Outputs.

Feature List - Hardware Capabilities, aka, here's how you do it
Inputs

* Hall, optical, or VR crankshaft position sensor
* Second VR input for camshaft position sensor
* Flex Fuel Sensor Input
* 2 general purpose digital inputs for which can be used for launch control, table switching, etc.
* 2 general purpose analog inputs
* Onboard knock sensor conditioner
* Onboard 2.5bar MAP Sensor + support for optional MadDaddy 4bar upgrade with realtime baro correction
* Coolant Temperature Sensor
* Intake Temperature Sensor

Outputs

* 4 Logic Level Spark Outputs
* 4 BIP373 high current coil drivers
o Supports 1, 2, 3, or 4 cylinder COP/CPP (Coil on Plug, Coil per Plug) Ignition
o Supports 2, 4, 6, 8 cylinder wasted spark ignition
* Boost control output
* 4 general purpose on/off outputs - 2 on the module, 2 on the mainboard
* 2 injector outputs - Capable of driving 2 low-impedance or 8 high-impedance injectors
o Can easily support higher number of low impedance injectors via resistors or external Peak-n-Hold box
* PWM idle control output
* Fuel pump control

Note: Not all the features can be installed at the same time. In particular:

* The flex fuel sensor replaces one of the general purpose digital inputs.
* Knock sensing or barometric correction requires one of the analog inputs.
* Using three or four ignition outputs uses one or two of the general purpose on/off outputs, respectively.

Supports Speed Density and Alpha-N. As well as Hybrid Speed Density/Alpha-N

Optional MAF Sensor Support using MicroSquirt B&G Firmware instead of MS2/E firmware, though some of the other features above are not available with the B&G firmware - be aware of this when making your choice.

We have a lot of guys asking for MSPNPs for niche applications, and now we've come out with a way to partner with a car club, racing league, or Internet forum to make these happen. We can do this for any car that we have a connector for and that can be run off an MSPNP feature set. What we need from the enthusiast community is 10 people willing to pre-order and put down a $300 deposit, and the loan of a test car for a few months. Anyone who pre-orders gets a $100 discount if they order within 30 days of the MSPNP coming to market. Check out the details here:
