As you've noticed in several posts, Weatherpack connectors are
available from several sources. Just the connectors for the
injectors should be available at your local auto parts store as they
are a common repair item. Try Autozone, Napa, etc.

wiring harness connectors
pigtails at parts stores and auto electric shops, and
the cheapest price I could find for an injector
connector is $7 each, if purchased 20 at a time.
Coolant temp and intake air temp sensor connectors
were something like $10 each.
As for weatherpack connectors, I haven't found a place
that sells assembled connector pigtails (or even
unassembled single connector kits) for less than the
price of my assembled connectors. After assembling a
few of 'em, I realized that I'm probably not charging
enough money. ;-)

wiring harness connectors
Is a good source for weatherpack stuff, my brother got lots of switches,
connectors and even the crimp tools from them for a reasonable price when we
rebuilt and rewired his 1977 Corvette..
But Rodneys assembled parts certainly make things easier if you dont have
the tools handy
Dave
wiring harness connectors
located a source for all the OEM style connectors used in most of the german
cars with Bosch engine management systems from the late 60's to present.
Not sure on pricing yet but will have any of the oem connectors available in
a few weeks. 2, 3, 4 + pin sockets, headers etc.
Great if you want use your existing sensors with Megasquirt rather than
refitting in NPT threaded GM style sensors into your metric auto's

They specialize in the GM stuff. Best price I have seen for GM TBI
connectors @ $3.30. Others seem reasonable as well.

little higher than mine, considering that I sell mine
as a set rather than just the half that goes to the
sensor/device, and mine are pigtails rather than
unassembled connectors (unless someone wants 'em
unassembled.)
I'm targeting people who will use Weather Pack
connectors for wire-to-wire connections within a
harness, rather than wire-to-device connections.
Maybe I should start offering them this way as well.

wiring harness connectors
would rather not have to soder the wire at all just
derrectly connect it to the wiring harness.. but if
you would have to i guess i would just need to live
with that..
i might be able to get some pictures but on some of
this stuff i would like to be able to use my stock
sensors. like water temp *i think that one is like
that* and air temp.. both of these sensors have 2
prongs sticking up derrectly from the sensor.
i have a 2nd Gen RX-7 Turbo.. maybie you might know
what i'm thinking of..
besides that i really like some of these plugs.. i
would aucully like to run 2 seprate wiring harness's
for the engine bay.. one that would aucully be
connected to the engine then a large plug that chould
be disconnected and ran to the wiring harness... off
the top of my head the would be around a 16 pin
connector needed..
the other reason is i want to go through my car and
completely rewire it. and connectors are going to be a
must have once all of that is done then i might be
happy with my electrical system..
speaking of weach on a side note heres the list of the
items that i am going to be keeping on the car..
Headlights, High Beam, Low beam, motors
the high beam low beam i can figure out but these are
pop up headlights and i'm not excatly sure how to wire
them up.. i might just end up runing a seprate swich.
Turn Signals
i think i have a handle on these but not excatly
sure.. perhaps a 3 way toggle swich ran to a flasher
relay?
Whipers
this i really have not figured out one bit.. what i am
thinking i would like is just High, Low speed on it i
never have really used a delay on whipers
Tail lights
not hrad to do me thinks
brake lights
same thing i think not to hard to figure out
reverse lights
just need to find the swich..
Dome and gauge lighting, Dimmer?
this one i think i might like a dimmer but its not
needed.. one of the problems i might run into is if i
dont have the money to replace the whole gauge cluster
with VDO gauges is wiring up the exsiting cluster.
Sunroof
3 postition swich no brainer to me its not like theres
10 wires going to the sunroof motor
Windows
i allready have retrofited a GM power window swich to
the car so i dont think they will prove to be very
diffacult..
i really want to get this kind of information down for
people who want to do this kind of a job in the
futrue.. i am also hoping to swap out that old cracked
up dash board with this unit..
http://www.speedmachineperformance.com/ ... 1&pid=3047
ok i think i'm done with this book..

wiring harness connectors
Weather Pack connectors would work great for rewiring your car. If I
were you, I'd just buy a crimping tool from Summit (there's a link on
my site in the description for the connectors) and I'll just sell you
uncrimped connectors. Also, if you come up with a list of wires you
need, I can order custom harnesses/wire sets. As for the big
connector you'll need, I don't have anything that size available, but
I would think that three 6-pin Weather Pack connectors would work
well sitting side by side. Finally, regarding your sensors, I don't
think they'd be GM-style sensors. You'll probably either have to a)
use EasyTherm to calibrate your MS for your sensors, or b) retrofit GM
sensors on your car.
