EDIS sheilded wires

EDIS sheilded wires

how important is the sheilding of these wires? i got a EDIs for cheap and it is 80% installed i just need to finish the harness. some of the sheilded wire is not covered all the way. will this be a problem?

The crank sensor (VR sensor) wire needs to be shielded.

it is all but like an inch or 2 where i had to solder wires together. hope thats not a problem.
