Ford Racing Injector Spray Pattern

Post by np75 »

Does anyone on here know what the spray pattern on the 24 lb/hr "M-9593-A302" (-A304 is same part that come in four pack instead of eight) or the 23 lb/hr "M-9593-M23" (-M234 is same part in four pack) from Ford Racing? I had a look in their catalogue, and searched the web and on here but have not found this info. They do not even say what the intended vehicle is for them. My car has a two valve motor, so I don't want to end up with an injector for a Mustang Cobra or a Focus that has two divergent sprays to hit the two intake valves. I also want avoid any narrow cones patterns as I have read that these tend to cause idle problems.

I have raced fords for about four years now.

The M-9593-A302 injector is the 1993 mustang cobra injector. Ford Racing makes a VERY good injector. I only like three injector makers.

1 Bosch
2 Ford Racing
3 Delphi

The 93 cobra had the blue 24lbs injectors and a very smooth idle.

My idle only got strange after I went with the F303 Ford Racing cam, 1.72 Ford Racing roller rockers and milled my heads for more compression. Even then my idle was not bad.
