sensor sourcing

Post by BrentP »

I am redoing the cooling system on one of my racebikes, and need to replace the coolant temp sensor.

Ideally, it would be the standard GM temp curve that MS likes, and 1/8" NPT threads.

Anybody know of one that fits the bill?

Lots of searching on the forums/megamanual has turned up a 1/4" NPT, but that is a bit large.

Thx for the pointer, I have sent mail to them asking about them. Looks like it might be a special order item.

I may just end up using the sensor that came with the thermostat housing, and try to remember to recalibrate when I burn code. Don't want to change the bias resistor.
