IAC wiring question

Hi all I have a MSII ver 3 board. I am going to wiring up my GM IAC valve with a four pin inline connector. How does one figure out which wire goes to which pin on the motor? If I use a meter to check OHM's the first two pins have 48 OHMs between them and the second two pins have 48 OHM's between them no other combination of pins has any continuity. So I assume the first two pins are one coil and the second two pins are the other coil. Do I just wire coil A leads one and two to the first two pins and coil B leads to the second two pins? I hope this does not come across as confusing I just do not want to damage anything.

heh, I know your feeling, it actualy took me a couple weeks to figure that out. What kind of car/year is it, and I might be abe to hep ya....

I am installing MS on a 1984 porsche 928. I am using all GM sensors. The IAC I have has a million applications for GM cars and trucks. It is the bolt on oring style IAC stepper.

you have the right idea identifying which leads from sensor are matched to a coil.

however, it sounds like you intend to match the letters instead of numbers from the pinout leads. it's actually setup as Coil 1 Lead A & B, Coil 2 Lead A & B (not coil A, lead 1 & 2, etc).

once you have that easy part done, try different combos on the bench.

even though it's GM, they don't seem to have a standard pinout. mine is GM style, but pinout is different from what others have. if you have the part number, maybe you get lucky in google land?

I found exactly what I need in the manual. I looked in the many times and must have just passed over that section.
