Power on pin#9 serial port.
#1 I cut the pin #9 out of one of my serial cables and powerd the bluetooth serial adapter from its 110 wall adapter and it works smooth just like a cable. Perfactly!
#2 If I use certain usb adapters I cannot get megatune to connect to the link because it wants to create on com port that is a high number. it seems that if the virtual com port is below 10 both computers will be fine with tunerstudio or megatune. But if it is over com port 10 it will only work in tunerstudio. It is like there is a limit to what megatune will alow for a com port number.
For #1 I figure is one of two things are wrong I have a bad conection in the ms circutry on power or ground, or my bluetooth adapter uses to mugh power. The power supply is rated to 5v & 300milliamps.
For #2 I figure there is sometihing in megatune that needs to be changed. I have set all com ports as I create them in devicemanager to 115200 so I dont think it is anything other than megatune!
Where Do I go from here?

Re: Power on pin#9 serial port.
For problem 1 I Used 2 3300uf 6.3 volt capacitors On the bottom of the bord & they barely fit! conected to pins 9 and 5 one the serial port. This smoothed it out to just like using a cable.
For problem 2 I had to go and manualy reasign the com ports to com 6 for outgoing. It was hard to figure out but It will work on both computers like that.
I have tried some settings and I have changed the code from blockReatimeout = 100 to blockReadtimeout =3000 I tried 150 and and it seems better at 3000 but I could be wrong I find I do get dropouts and sometimes it wont like back up till I turn off ms and on again. I think that went away more with the higher timout.
So far this is good because I have honestly spent so much time in the last three years tring to get this one wireless thing working it is insane.
