Fuel pump running on/off and rpm values from 0 to 8000 rpm

Post by pw36889 »

Hi,

Here's my issue, I am using a microsquirt with 2.888 code. I have connected the IAT, MAP, ground, O2, the Coax center wire + the sheild to my 911SC coil and the fuel pump. Now, when I turn on the contact, the first sign of the trouble is the on/off sound of the pump. Looking at the screen of the tunerstudio. The RPM gage goes from 0 to 8000 rpm. The IAT, MAP are stuck to the initial values. Probes does not update the values in the gage screen. Of course I did not crank the engine yet.

Thanks

Alain

Just to clarify the coax cable was not connected to the coil but the distributor. I kept try to understand my situation, but it seems that the tuner studio is showing me that the ECU is not set. Can that problem of on/off pump be related to this . Anyone can tell me how you set the ECU type?

Thanks

Just forget everything about this, I went to the nice video page on the DIY Auto TUNE web site and found my answer.

Not being a wise a$$ but in the future when you resolve a problem you've posted about, then find the solution it'd be nice for others if you'd post the solution... :) Yeah, I had to have the "select ecu type" pointed out to me too.

was it because you had not entered the cpu type in megatune ?
