High Current Ignition Driver

Post by ricardobready »

Hello-I am finishing up my first MS II 3.0 board. I am using GM HEI with a MSD 5/Accel coil on a 4.3 v6. Is there any reason to use the high current ignition driver? Is it better? I will be switching to a Ford EDIS system later. Will this cause me any problems? Can I easily switch back to using the 8 pin HEI module if need be? Just trying to sort this out in my head. Want the system to be the best it can be. Thanks!

It's not going to be any better than the 8 pin HEI module for this particular buildup; I'd stay HEI if I had this car.
