Anyone runnign a CBR600RR engine
I'm trying to decide a) whether to go down the MSII route or stick MSI, b) whether to run with COP or to simplify life and run single coil or at most wasted spark and c) wondering whether anyone has interfaced with the curious cam/crank sensor arrangement (looks like multi-tooth crank and 3 tooth cam, with two teeth opposite and a sync tooth)?
Cheers all!

Re: Anyone runnign a CBR600RR engine
What I did was file off one of the 12T on the crank sprocket. I did it on the engine, I make a seal out of plastic and duct tape to keep the grinding out and used a Dremel tool. Took 2 minutes to remove the outer cover and a minute to do the grind.
I have helped several FSAE teams using this motor and this setup works well. In fact the USNA did a study last year comparing Microsquirt in batch mode with another aftermarket EFI running in sequential mode (they used the cam sync but ground off two of the nubs to yield one pulse) and HP, TQ, timing were the exact same.
