several people here have larger than stock & boosted VW-AC's -- for a more targeted focus group, you might want to check out the FI section of http://www.shoptalkforums.com/. I have yet to build the engine I plan on putting MS in. It will be a NA 1776, with EDIS and more or less stock type 3 injection.

The fuel map is easy. I datalog with a wideband O2 meter, use Megalog Viewer to automatically adjust my VE table, then do any spot-corrections manually from the tuning screen.

The spark map is another matter. Making a spark map that works is easy but you'll never know if it's ideal unless you get to a variable load dyno for tuning.

FWIW I still use the 009 distributor, (and stock coil), in my ACVW, but my MS2 still controls my timing advance. There are advance timing maps available to download online. There are several ACVW guys here that would probably share their maps as well. Setting up an advance table is pretty simple if you are willing to accept that you may no have it tuned to the "perfect" state for your engine, but it still runs great. The stock dizzy does a much worse job of timing advance control than a timing map made without a dyno IMHO. But, as Minami stated earlier, the only way to get it dialed "perfectly" in is with a dyno.
