PLX Devices Wideband and Megatune discrepancy

Post by chipmaker »

I have an ’88 Mustang with a 2.3 turbo, MS II, the EEC-IV adapter box and a PLX Devices wideband controller and gauge. The problem is that the PLX gauge reads ½ an AFR point higher than the gauge in Megatune. The gauge and controller get both power and grounds from the adapter box and I’ve installed the recommended capacitor between the wideband signal wire and the ground, but to no avail. The table set points are also set correctly for the gauge. Any info of how to synchronize both gauges would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

look at the ini file -- you need to select AEM as the type -- even then depending on the version, some were off and needed to update the formula in MS- do a search on UEGO find the old postings.
