BIP question

Post by carbon »

The DIY Autotune kit has the BIP373 for U16 instead of the VB921 part...

Just a question about resistances... I have basically an open between one outside leg and the center and only about ~400 ohms from the other to center. I used the nylon nut and bolt and the mica insulator... should I have that low of a DC resistance in that circuit?

Sorry... I corrected the issue by using the correct insulator.

On a different topic.. is there supposed to be something in the kit as far as a thermal adhesive for R37 and R38? Am I just missing it? I have all the of the components installed on the heat sink except those two because I think I may have to procure something to couple them to the heatsink.

Yes, there should be some small squares of a special double sided tape in the kit.
