Re: swicthing earth or live
In terms of the MS it's because an NPN transistor is doing the switching and common emitter mode is the best for this job. In this configuration the load is between the positive supply and the collector.hcmini1989 wrote:can i just ask does anyone know why we switch earths and live`s is it to do with the component we are wiring up or does`nt it matter .ive tried to find why things are wired with switched earths and the same with switched lives but cant seem to find out why ? it is done thanks for any help
If you Google on common emitter, common base and common collector you'll get the pros and cons of each type.
