Odd pattern in my VE table

Post by gboone »

Last fall, I made several runs datalogging and then performed the VE Analysis in MLV after every run. It was to the point where VE Analysis was making fewer and smaller changes but the pattern of values in my VE table seems odd. See the datalog and VE table from my last analysis in the attached msq file. The values are all over the place, not like the VE table I see in the MS manual. I had acceleration enrichment turned off and EGO turned down low while tuning the VE table. Also, I was using gentle throttle inputs. Should I trust my VE table is good, manually change the values to resemble the patterns of a normal table, or use a different method for tuning VE such as Autotune or AMC? If it matters, I have individual throttle bodies. Thanks for any help.

The only really strange area on the map is the high kPa - low RPM area. It may not be getting enough data there and is probably overcompensating if it's not allowed to tune below 1000 RPM. I would dial those in by hand.
