Hi Guys
I'm new to the forum.
I wish to run a 4 cyl competition engine with the MS. It runs 60 tooth Electromotive wheel on the crank (2 teeth missing, no cam driven sensor), TPS only (no map) and dual wasted spark (2x 2HT coils, no dizzy, eg 2 coil driver channels). My requirements are pretty basic, Temp, crank, accell and rev limit is all I really need. 9k rpm is plenty.
From what I can glean I'll need to use the new 'Sequential' model. Is this correct, or can the older model be pressganged into service?

With no cam sensor, you will not be able to run sequential anyway. (The MS3 would allow for non-sequential individual cylinder trim, however.) In your case, I would probably run a Microsquirt as long as you are not running low impedance injectors. It's got all the I/O you need, in a compact, rugged package. It has two built in coil drivers and a VR conditioner so you can use your existing coils and pickup.
