VE values will not save to ECU.

Post by Samuel Powell »

Hi. I can tune my slant six nicely, but the values I put in the table will not save to the ECU. I press "S" as directed in the help menu, but the box below clearly states table has not been burned to ECU. And, when I turn it off, and restart it, sure enough, the old values are back in the table. What am I doing wrong here?

I have a table which runs, but is too rich, so the differences are not so great it dies. For instance I am changing the lowest RPM and MAP cell from 49 to 45, and the idle goes from 12.5 to 13.5. But, as I said it does not save. Thanks for the help.

I believe the correct keystroke for a burn is: CTRL+S

I do find occasionally, that I have to press it twice but it works for me.

Alt B is the keystroke that "Burns" the table to the flash memory.
