MS manuals in PDF format??

Post by Dr. Righteous »

Hey,
Are the MegaSquirt manuals available in a PDF format for download?
I would really prefer to print them and keep them in a 3 ring binder rather than have to hunt a web page all the time.

Thanks

Firefox allows you to format and print them out direct. That's how I did it. Dunno about other browsers.

The reason the megamanual is not in pdf is because it becomes out of date with everything they add.

There are free apps that allow you to create your own PDF.

I first ran across MegaSquirt several years ago back when there was only MS1.
I seem to remember downloading the manual on a PDF for printing. But now that version is woefully out of date now.
I'm aware you can convert to PDF from a HTML but formatting isn't always the best.
Don't want to whine about this too much, but when I need to sit down in the easy chair and study a subject, I much prefer print than a LCD screen.

Same here - which is why I printed it out direct from Firefox. No need to have PDF for this.

I like to have it electronically but would like to have it available no Internet access is available. Such as when I'm tuning away from home. I have WiFi at home so it's no problem. I would keep it on my iPad and my garage laptop for easy access.

Save it as an HTML file. You can then view that offline.
