Okay I need alittle expert advice. I have a 350 Chevy TPI going to be running 10 psi with my turbo. I have a few questions, I'm adding a Knock curciut to my MS2 PCB3 board and would like to see if anyone has any pictures or maybe even a video on doing this. I kindof get what to do by the instuctions but I'm more of a watch and learn. (thanks adhd). Also when setting the knock sensor settings it says "ignore above; tps 70, 3500 rpm ect.." well running boost and high 6000 rpms will the knock sensor not work or can i change the settings to pick it up and correct. I have a GM knock sensor with the GM ECS module and I have the 4.7 diode and the 1k ohm resister. Just need a little advice and I have seached the site but came up with nothin. Thanks for your time

I don't have any pictures besides the ones in the manual, but using a factory GM knock control module above 6000 RPM does not sound like a good idea without extensive testing to make sure the sensor can pick up knock reliably in this range. The engine noise increases with RPM, and the module has no way of detecting RPM or compensating for it.nathanklein wrote:Okay I need alittle expert advice. my redline is 5500 but I'm going to be around 10 psi at that point. knock detection is crucial when boosting so will it detect fine under 5500?

I can't make any promises for how well the knock sensor will work. The manual implies they will send a signal at 4800 RPM, whether it's knocking or not.
