Help with starting

Post by mxguy1286 »

Hello,
I am having starting issues with my truck. I have been having this issue since day one but now its just annoying me being its the only thing left and isnt "right". The problem is I have to crank my engine with the fuel pump off, hold my throttle at like 30% and crank it a rew rotations then flick the pump and it will fire right up. If I try and start it with the pump on and just cranking it will not start. Basically I can not crank it with the pump on or it wont start. I have to crank it a bit with the pump off then flick it on for the truck to start. I have some really high cranking pulsewidth's and I have tried to lower them and it makes it not start at all. Any help or input is apprecitated.
Set-up
6.0 ls1
ms1 controlling fuel only
Msd 6010 controlling ignition
60lb injectors

That sounds like too much cranking pulse width.
