too much fuel
i have a 78 ford f250 its running a ms 2 i cant seem to get the low end bog out of it and the other day it back fired throught the intake and now it dumps so much fuel that it will hardly run. could the map sensor have been taken out by the back fire. Any ideas?

It certainly could happen. What does MAP read now as opposed to before the backfire?could the map sensor have been taken out by the back fire. Any ideas
Log and msq would help.

thanks for the reply ken i have not had a chance to check the map reading since the backfire i will chech it this week and see what it says. when i do i will post it
