I just received a new, complete DIY 3.57smd unit. I noticed that the external wiring diagram, titled V3.0/V3.57, that came with it is slightly different than the V3.0 I previously used. In the newer version the VR sensor has + going to pin 24, - going to pin 1 and the shield going to pin 2. The previous version of the diagram has sensor + going to pin 24, sensor - going to pin2 and no shield shown and nothing hooked to pin 1. Has the circuit changed?
Also, does anyone have a complete wiring diagram that shows the EDIS (crank) sensor, hooked to the EDIS ignition system and m'squirt, using the latest Megasquirt 3.57. If PIP (pin 1/EDIS) goes to p24 of the m'squirt, and saw (pin 3 /EDIS) goes to pin 36 of the M'squirt and the crank sensor goes to pins 5&6 of the EDIS...............what is hooked up to pins 1&2 of the m'squirt.................where does the m'squirt get the tach signal, etc.

Nothing needs to be hooked to MegaSquirt pins 1 and 2; they're grounds. The MegaSquirt gets its tach signal from PIP.Also, does anyone have a complete wiring diagram that shows the EDIS (crank) sensor, hooked to the EDIS ignition system and m'squirt, using the latest Megasquirt 3.57.
