OSX 10.5.8 issues

I just downloaded the TunerStudio MS version 1.14.1 went through the normal install procedure fine. I dont have an ecu yet, but I was trying to open tuner studio to look around a bit and I got the folloing errors/warnings.

My OS and java are up to date, and I couldnt find anywhere to change any setting during the install or after.





Any ideas?

I cant find anything that specifically is called TunerStudioMSLite!.jar to "open"

I just tried the icon that appeared in applications

It appears it is not finding the right RXTX driver.

I had this reported 1 other time and it turned out that Some other app had installed an RXTX driver that was not compiled for a 64 bit system and it installed it system wide and it was picked up before the driver i have bundled in the app.

Check in the folder:
/Library/Java/Extensions
See if there is a file called: librxtxSerial.jnilib

if there is, delete it. Then try again.

If you download the tar file and start it by double clucking the jar file, does it work?

I get the same warning, when I click "yes" it just sits at "initializing serial drivers".

Maybe there would be something ib your TunerStudioLogFile.txt from you TunerStudioProjects folder.

Interesting in the log...
When you run it as the installed app, it is using a 64 bit 1.6 JRE, when you run the Jar file, it is running as a 32 bit 1.5 JRE...

Different errors too, and neither looked quite like it was really an RXTX driver error.
If you click no on that dialog does it finish loading?

I added a little debug info just before I put out the 1.17 beta this morning, it you can try that one and send me the TunerStudioAppDebugFile.txt
file...
