is this the same as a bip 373 or a substitute?(1)
there used to be 0.6v showing on relay board S5/pin 36 when bench testing the mallory dizzy with 6100 module,
drill spinning the dizzy in this bench test produced increasing spark from the coil as the rpms climbed on megatune,
that ms2 ecu mallory combination started the engine but it was shut down due to pops and backfires,
follow up bench tests show a drill spun dizzy produces no coil spark and relay board S5/pin 36 show no voltage,
is there a way to volt/ohm test the coil driver transistor without removing it from the circuit board?(2)
could something else cause S5/pin 36 to show no voltage?(3)
also the ig and idl leds on megastim don't light now when dials are twisted,
the original test was done with 2.890 firmware but 3.01 and 2.0 have been tried to eliminate the possibility of a firmware issue,
is 2.890 firmware available anywhere?(4)
each question has a number that can be used for answers if you want,

Good commercial practice so you can't easily find a cheaper substitute.Matt Cramer wrote:That is a BIP373. For some reason, Bosch never puts the real part number on the transistor.
