so i accidently tried to change my coolant temperature calibration and sent it to the ecu while the engine was running. I have got my fuel maps and acceleration compensation set, but the ecm will not read the coolant temp or the air temp. they both just show 0 degres. I am running firmware 2.3ini. I am going to update this tomorrow. will this correct the coolant and air temp issue or did i screw something up?

7AG,

The flash burn may make the engine run badly or not at all while it is burning (because all the values in a 'page' of flash memory have to be written with ones, and then set the the desired values). This can take up to a few seconds. If you were running hard at the time, the engine could be damaged by inaccurate fuel or spark advance values if they were in the page of memory that is being re-written. However, if the burn completed okay and the engine runs fine after the burn, there is nothing further to worry about and no permanent damage has been done.

well the engine was idling. I do know about tuning and modifying. When I burned the gm coolant temp setting to the ecm while it was running it completely screwed up my fuel maps. Luckily I had them saved in another file. The problem i hve now is that the ecm is giving me a 0 value for the coolant temp and the air temp.

7AG,

If this was mine I would reload the firmware (http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/code.htm).
