The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview.While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. I got a tpi I need to data log it but I use the auto tune option. I had one stock injector clog and mess up the wide band info so I got new 27# injectors and truck runs better then it ever did. I pulled injector plugs till I found the one that didn't change. I disabled a few things and the one I got now is one I tweaked some stock settings back in for wue ase and cranking pulses and such. I need to open it up past cruse to get the map in past 2800 rpm. I did notice after looking at another log that the above 100 ve areas might not be bad if it doesn't exceed 100% duty cycle. I never looked yet will tho this week. I set up ignition based on stock hei the vac advance points might be off. The VE table I'm kinda just wandering around trying to smooth it out I could go by how a holly adds enrichment but meh. any advice would be nice I do have a 10 micron filter comeing to try and clean up the iffy fuel supply. Misfires leaning out the wide band was a fun to see.

Well I found out I had to set my iac start to 256 after having some random high idle issues. I also have an issue were around 2300 I open it up slowly to start getting the upper ve bins set and no matter what the engine would show lean on the af meter like it was running out of fuel. Confirmed it with the data log showing 100 percent duty cycle. Anything 70 and lower even at higher rpms would hit what afr I needed. I pulled the disk 40 micron filter apart and it was stopped up cleaned it and put it back together. I also played with 8 squirts setting and got to run lower ve tables but still had the lean issue on top. I cant wait for the new filter to get here and to start finishing the ve table so I can fine tune the wue then the ase. Oh had to pull the distributor as its pumping oil out the top. PVC is working pulled the filter off other valve cover and put my hand over it and it sucks in. Its an billet ebay 8 pin specials.I got to add another drain hole and shim it up more as it has a lot of end play.
Well I fixed the oil leak on the distributor by drilling 3 more holes. I also fixed the going lean after around 50 percent dc. Replace with a nice 10 micron fuellab 6an in out as no one seems to have a 6an anymore. Truck runs like a champ wot all tho I need to tweak the governor weights and or modulator to drag the 4k shift points to 5k. Oh and the 8 squirt option works better then 2 esp at idle the ve table gets cut 20 points sense the change. Now after this is done I need to drag out my old v2.2 ms1 daytona.
