Help identify Megasquirt version

Post by xrac3rx85 »

I have the opportunity to purchase this partially assembled kit, for a very reasonable price. Problem is, I am new to Megasquirt and have no idea if it is 1, 2, or 3. The guy claims that it is Megasquirt 2, and this is the one that I want. I guess I just want to be sure I am not getting ripped off.. Here is a picture of the board, and a box full of components. It looks like the bag on top is labeled and says somthing about a CPU, but i can not make it out.

Hope someone can help.
Thanks guys.

That is an incomplete V3.0 main board. I can't see the processor in those photos.

It's a V3 board, so good. Now find the processor. If it is a single black chip about 2" long, an MS1. If it is a blue daughter board which fits the same socket, an MS2.
