I realize after I posted that the FP relay was designed to shut if the engine wasn't cranking so that problem is no longer a question. Here is the real problem.
When I start the engine with carb and stock coil, the trigger appears to output an RPM that looks correct and steady. Then, very consistently(18sec) the RPM graphic in TS will freeze and TS will go "off line". The fuel pump led will than "flash" for sometimes more than a minute and than it will stop flashing.
I have also tested my coil being connected and it will fire but the timing must be way off. That is the next problem.

Would an MSQ be a file? I am not sure what that is. I have Mega log viewer on my notebook but have never used it. I need some direction here as well. What file name am I looking for with Mega log Viewer?Matt Cramer wrote:Can you post an MSQ and a data log of the problem?
Thanks for you patience.

Disregard previous quote here is my TS file N600 and the small log.Matt Cramer wrote:Can you post an MSQ and a data log of the problem?
Re: Testing MSII for spark
Here is a longer msq. I should note that the real RPM read with an IR tester was around 1400rpm. The problem still seems to be a communications drop and than aventually the MS freezes.8803 wrote:Disregard previous quote here is my TS file N600 and the small log.Matt Cramer wrote:Can you post an MSQ and a data log of the problem?
