What's the proper way to T into an existing connection

Post by brusk »

I'm hoping to run my factory 01 Corolla automatic ECU and a MS3 in parallel in the hopes of tricking the factory ECU into seeing a happy running engine but tricking it's ignition and injection components so I can have it run my auto trans, VVTi and in a perfect world set readiness codes on the OBDII. My first concern is what sensors can I keep the way they are and "T" into them. The ECU runs a MAF and I'd run a MAP so I don't have to worry about that, the other concerns would be the CLT, AIT, and Crank sensor. Assuming use the Toyota ones my main concern is how to properly "T" into these sensors without degrading the signal. I've heard in the past that some sensors can't reliably send it's signal to multiple sources and unfortunately found this out ones with a cheap AFR gauge.

Thank you that was along the lines of what I was looking for. I at least have a better game plan of what I need to be doing now.
