Big issue is matching the TPS output to the MS you use. For timing on SBS go over to theturboforums. http://www.theturboforums.com/threads/3 ... ome/page11
This page will give you some ideas on how to run timing. The guy is running a crank trigger, and commander 950 FI with TPI dapter harness. IT RAN 9.30s on junk.
Biggest issue a 400 will have is cylinder wall flex.
Since your being conservative on boost, you should be fine.
Remoted throttle bodies wind up trashing the flow charateristics of a carb intake.
About the best trade off is a 45 degree adapter and point it forward, then the airflow seems to work acceptable, you might have to work the tau a little but less issue than remote throttle body.
