Diode D3

I'm sure that I am just missing this but cannot see any instruction to add diode D3 to my V3 board.
Sheet 4 of the V3 schematic shows all the other components of this particular circuit installed.
Any info (step#) appreciated.

D3 is part of the injector output circuit. I found this at step 58........
58. Install and solder D3 {1N4001DICT-ND}. This is located near the center of the PCB, near R14 and R17. Observe the proper polarity.

It is part of the 12 volt supply filter to U4. The purpose is to protect U4 if MS is connected with the wrong polarity.
